The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Courts Vision is to discover and determine the truth; and to seek a resolution which restores balance to the community in accordance with the customs and traditions of the tribe, repairs relationships, results in fairness, and avoids principles of retribution and punishment.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Courts Mission is to focus on administering fair and impartial justice within the tribal community, while also upholding tribal sovereignty and cultural values. The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Court emphasizes restoring balance, fostering public trust, and ensuring access to justice for all.
